Accademia Europea di Firenze is a Liberal and Performing Arts School specialized in teaching the Italian language and culture, figurative arts and performing arts.
The training offer includes European Bachelor-Level Semesters, Academic Semesters in Fine and Performing Arts and Italian Culture, programs of the top American and international universities, as well as individual lessons and entire programs devised ad hoc for groups with specific requirements.
The AEF courses adhere to the guidelines of the Bologna Process, releasing ECTS credits with proposed US credits equivalency for its semester and Bachelor-Level courses. Besides being the Elon University Center in Florence, AEF credits are also recognized abroad from our international partners. AEF is also a Training Agency recognized by the Regione Toscana: each course complies with this triple quality status and comes under the ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) for academic transcripts and attendance certificates.
The ECTS credits constitute a new European academic standard, established in 1999 with the Bologna Process for the purpose of enabling the mobility of students within the borders of Europe under the Erasmus project. Today, the ECTS makes it possible for the best European higher education institutes to communicate with the whole world. The system defines the characteristics of the courses, the contact hours, study hours, clarity of the information, guidelines for assessing the results, and more importantly, it guarantees the maximum transparency and quality of every aspect of the educational offer.
